"Some future tenant"? I thought it was going to be a Dunkin' Donuts/Baskin Robbins. Is that no longer the case?

    WOW!!! are you serious??

IMO..I was just pointing out in a "festive" way that overeating i.e. Dunkin Donuts, Mexican food... is a serious problem in this country...jeez calm down there, nothing personnel was intended.

Good Advice Tyger31, I'll have to look for some good lowfat muffin recipes!

I think some of you are reading too much into comments. I read Dixie's comment not as a commentary on the size in general, but as how she'd feel getting that big. And before you go off on me, I'm bigger than a size 12 -14, so if anyone should be insulted I should be - and I'm not.

    To get back on topic:

It still will be a DD/BR, but the building is supposedly going to be built with enough room for a small restaurant or something like that in an adjoining suite.

As long as they have coffee, I don't care what else is there.

Will the donuts be made on the premises, or trucked in from some central distribution center?

First let me thank neil. As per what would on pad....Half of that would be Dunkin Donuts and Baskin Robbins and we have couple of proposals for other half. Dunkin would have drive-thru. Contractors Promised me that they would be working on footers by the end of this week and Building should be ready by middle of june and Dunkin should be ready in 3-4 weeks from there. As Kitchen wont be economical to have at retail. Infact donuts might be coming from other store, twice a day once early morning and next delivery at noon. Except donuts everything else will be baked at site( local).

Trust me..Our goal is to serve best product and great customer service...There might be some hiccups in the begining and beleive me we will make sure our customers are happy. As Lot of new Dunkins are coming around this area it also brings convinience. Another one will be coming around june in Tysons Corner on RT7, in Old Pizzahut Bulding ( next to ed bath and beyond, leisurtime fitness).

    Thanks

I overlook the Old Pizza Hut building in Tysons! Donuts on the way to work (Broadlands location) and donuts at work. What could be better?

I remember that ole Pizza Hut building in Tysons.

I used to go there when I was a kid. At that time it was a Shaky's Pizza. They had an ole time banjo player and piano player workin the crowd on Friday nights.

The Shaky's was on the road behind where the Pizza Hut is/was. Same road as J.R's Stockyard Inn.

    No lie ..

FWIW .. it was spelled Shakeys !! http://www.answers.com/topic/shakey-s-pizza

There are still 63 stores open in the US, and about 330 in Asia!! Good news for Shakey's fans, there is a new owner who is planning to reinvigorate the franchise, along with opening new locations.
