What about the morons that don't seem to see the "Exit Only" part of the Claiborne Pkwy sign coming off the Greedway from the East? I think 1 out of every 3 times I come this way, the person in front of me swerves over at the last minute when they realize they are going down the exit ramp. People really don't pay attention when they are driving around here, eh?

Yes, I see this all the time as well. It drives me nuts!

 

It makes it difficult to plan on when to go right, because the second the idiot realizes they are in the exit only lane, their priority is to move into the lane I'm in regardless of wether I am currently occupying it or not.

I'm beginning to get concerned that green is an invisible color for cars.

 

Gee, that problem sounds just like waxpool where it goes from 3 lanes to 2 lanes right before the Ice rink, where Waxpool turns left.

 

I have lived in Northern Virginia all my life and in Broadlands for 8 years now and this type of problem is just getting worse. I wish there was a solution but as long as people are not paying attention to their driving and are inconsiderate the only thing you can really do is drive defensively.

 

I think they're busy lamenting the fact that they don't have a trashcan. :rippedoff:

I think waxpool includes aggressive drivers trying to pass a few more cars before getting over. Don't think there's any of that at the Claiborne exit.

 

Well I had one yesterday. Never thought I would see this. I was coming down that road that goes past home depot. I was doing 25mph over the gravel portion. Get this. Some guy in a black car came flying up behind me, pulled to the left and passed me on a gravel road going about 40-50mph. You wanna talk about dangerous.

To make matters worse was that as soon as he got back on his side of the road and turned into home depot a cop came around the corner lol. talk about bad timing.

 

Me too, here is a new breed.

On Waxpool, right after 28. They miss first left turn at wegmanns b/c there is a median. What do they do? Why stop in the fast lane to make an illegal left. It's happened to me twice, almost hit someone b/c of it.

What's worse, the people behind arent honking, they just sit there like it is ok to do it.
