I came across this thread about DC on the Skyscaper site. There are other threads as well on this site
Interesting what people say about the DC area, some very unfactual and down right wrong yet interseting the same and many correct facts and opinions too.

I must be in that 1% that is actually from here.

 

I am another one that must be in the 1%....didn't realize it was so low. I know a lot of people I grew up with are still in the area.

 

Actually it is not that low but the thread does having some interesting opinions right or wrong. Someone corrects that further into the thread. There are several other interesting threads on this site about DC especially the construction.

OK test, where is the tallest building in the world now under construction??????

Burj Dubai currently under construction will be over 800meters. Its next competition will be Al Burj, also in Dubai. Man, they don't play around over there. Tapei 101 spire currently at 508meters.
