I was wondering if people can provide me with some recommendations for vets, other than SV. Thanks.

We've been taking our kitties to Ashburn Farm Animal Hospital (in Junction Plaza to the right of the Giant) since it opened several years ago. One of the vets (Dr. Grasso) from the Ashburn Village hospital had joined the practice, and we basically followed her over. Costwise, I don't know how they compare to the other area hospitals, but they're closeby, we've never waited more than a few minutes to be seen, and the staff is very pleasant. The cats (thanks to routine checkups and good genes, I guess!) have never been ill, so I can't tell you how they care for illnesses. They don't have emergency hours, so you'd have to go to emergency hospital on Rt. 7 in Leesburg for anything urgent. If you want additional info, just ask!

We also use Ashburn Farm Animal Hospital. We have been pleased with the care for our dog. Good hours, reasonable costs, good care, and they don't recommend unnnecessary tests.

We've been taking our dog to Chantilly Animal Hospital since we got him 2 years ago. I really like all of the vets there. They have never tried to push any unnessesary procedures like a few other places around the ashburn area have. Only vet I trust right now.

We have been going to Ashburn Veterinary Hospital on Stubble Road for ten years now. Our cat is a very very difficult cat (disposition), and they have always been willing to work with us when we bring him in without making us feel like we're the problem. The cat was healthy until a year ago, and Dr. Jones has taken the time to work with us to find the best treatment. He always seems to follow up personally after hours with phone calls. We've had a very good experience.

We go to Dr. Jones as well - have been going since he first opened. Have been very pleased with his manner and total love of animals. He always follows up with a phone call. Sure wish our family dr. was as concerned.

Thanks for the recommendations, we will be visiting with the vets mentioned here over the next couple of months and then make a decision. Thanks again for your assistance and have a great weekend.

I've used Clocktower Animal Hospital off of Centerville Road for the past 15 years. Dr. Schwartz and his staff are outstanding. In additiont to always being available and competent while I've been in the States, they have also been very responsive to email inquiries when abroad and in the third world with my pets. Dr. Schwartz is well-traveled and knowledgeable on assisting one to travel abroad with pets and will personally prepare an emergency vet kit with various supplies and meds if one is going to regions where vet care is not readily available.
They keep extensive records on your pets; have a regular newsletter and the most accomodating, friendly vet service I have experienced.

Ditto on Dr. Jones and Ashburn Vet. Hosp. We have been taking our 3 cats there for years and are extremely pleased with him and his staff.
