Our home backs up to Bullfrog Pond and I am noticing the view is obstructed by weeds and general plants that need to be pruned. One house across the pond has no obstruction, like they mowed any obstruction down leaving only grass. Am I able to prune plants leaving the trees at the pond's edge? I would think the men mowing the grass occasionally would take care of this problem. If not I need permission to get out my green thumb.

What pond? There is no water and probably no frogs either.

guess you haven't been there recently. It still has water, turtles, fish, and a bit of algea, not sure about frogs though.

Sorry...but you cannot cut, trim or in any way alter the common area without permission...and it is unlikely permission would be granted as Bullfrog Pond is a natural area and home to not just frogs, but ducks, geese, rabbits possibly a fox, birds, fish, snakes and many other species of critters! We preserve this area for our Naturalist to use for classes and for our residents to enjoy. Please resist the urge to "tidy up" this natural area...that was never its intended purpose
