Anyone else notice the Adelphia basic rate went up $2 recently?

Apparently without notice that I can see.. because I was on electronic bills. But now I can't even look at my electronic bills anymore because they cut the service due to the merger.. yet.. I can't get anything on comcast yet.

    Brillant!

You will be receiving a paper statement shortly from Adelphia with your new account # with Comcast. You can use that to sign up an account with Comcast.

I'm still getting adelphia paper statements.. and this is for the cable. Internet I get as part of a bundle so I don't pay that seperate anymore.

The only thing 'comcast' I have seen has been

    - adelphia cutting off their online account access
    - letters saying 'stuffs coming' and nothing changing

I have to mirror the same sentiments. I did ask when I went in to the office to pay my bill since we had no online payments anymore, and the lady there stated she did not think the true conversion would be until mid-spring. Amazing that the 'merger' happened in october and possibly won't have any visible presence until March!

    flynnibus,
Last time I spoke w/Adelphia-Comcast in October, they were running a special discount on TV packages for any new or existing Ashburn customers who wanted to switch over now to Comcast. The discount was only available to customers who walk in the door and who would ask for the "current specials", at the Red Rum facility. For whatever odd reason, the people at the front desk said they could not advertise it on paper. They said they might continue to offer the special discounts through the end of November, or maybe longer, however one would need to return to the Ashburn facility to check on those discount rates again.

I took advantage of the special. I was told that it was Comcast but it turned out to be Adelphia. This was a "Dish Buyback" promo. (Although I didn't have to give them my dish.)
