    A couple of other options would be nice
    * sometimes depending on the time of day
    * Yes - Mornings only
    * Yes - Afternoon only
    Personally I'm using Waxpool more now that the 28 interchanges are done - be nice if they could get the stupid light at Innovation drive closed and if the airport hadnt screwed up the on ramp to the Toll Road.

    Unfortunately, I usually have to take the Greenway in the afternoons and evenings. The exit to 28 is always backed up and I would be late picking my son up up from daycare if I went this way. It would easily add 25 minutes or more to our trip. Sometimes we take it in the morning as well if Waxpool is backed up.

    actually the evening commute is worse then the morning on waxpool. Evenings its heavy all the way to ashburn village blvd and getting through the 4 way stops on waxpool is very slow. I actually stay on waxpool (now farmwell I guess) to claibourne to avoid the 4 way stops

    I use it only in the mornings since I have to be in Silver Spring by 8AM and don't like leaving before 6:45. I can usually make it to the beltway pretty quickly that early, so it's worth the money to me. However in the afternoons I bite the bullet and take either Georgetown Pike or I66 to Rte 50 to come home.

    Thank God I don't have to commute anywhere in this area anymore! I wake up in the morning sometimes before dark, look out at the traffic already racing along the tollway, and give a silent thanks before crawling back into bed.

    Flynnibus, try this route sometimes. Come up Farmwell/Waxpool and instead of coming all the way through the extra stop lights to Claiborne, take a left onto Ashburn Road and then a right onto Waxpool into Broadlands.

    You save the extra stop lights and 4-way at Broadlands Blvd/Claiborne. There is never traffic on that part of Ashburn Rd and Waxpool, and you avoid the loooooong 4-ways on Waxpool. Good luck!

    the poll should have a one way only or sometimes pick- yes or no doesn't answer it for us...

    I just wanted to get a general idea how many actually use it.
    Using it one way is still considered yes.
    After everyone has voted (when votes slow down), I will make a new poll for specifics.

    Thanks

    AND if they ever finish paving Broadlands Blvd. going toward St. Theresa's church - there's another shortcut into our development.

    I use the toll road because to me, it is so convenient. Otherwise it would be a hassle. So I voted Yes.

    I've reduced my usage ever since the Sterling Blvd overpass opened. Unfortunately, if pressed for time coming westward, I take it because you just never know how backed up the toll and 28 at Innovation Dr will be.

    Rt28 at innovation takes 2-5 minutes to get through tops.

    Where the backup is all the monkeys waiting for the right most toll booth only at the Rt28 north exit off the DTR. There are 3 booths.. use them all :)
