Fire This Afternoon on Waxpool

A fire was set late this afternoon on Waxpool. It was a structure on one of the old vacated farms behind Evening Breeze Ct. that had already been burned down by the fire dept this summer. Had quite a few firetrucks there and the fire was put out pretty quickly.

An investigator from the Fire Marshal's Office was around the neighborhood asking questions and wanted folks to "listen out" for info. Nothing like a little excitment.

 

Possibly the Teens again????????

Maybe 'thepea2001' had one of her many surveillance camera's pointed that way and could help figure out who done it.

 

We've had a disturbingly high number of fires set around this area over the past few years.

 

It's probably just "bored teenangers" just having a little fun. I think we should all cut them a little slack, because it's our fault that they don't have enough to do, with school being closed and all.....

 

I wasn't aware that there had been a high number of fires (I infer you mean arsons). What else has been burned in the past five years?

 

You know, it is just possible that there is a pyro in the County.

 

Two other abandoned homes, one on Broadlands property, another off. Two homes under construction.

 

i had heard about this, and i had assumed that the fire department had done it like the other houses, on waxpool.

 

Flames were shooting up past the 2-story houses for a few minutes. Don't know the exact number but there were quite a few firetrucks and law enforcement lights flashing. The fire was put out pretty quickly but the trucks remained for a few hours.

The structure seemed to be a popular origination point for fireworks and late night craziness.

 

has anyone seen anyone leave the scene of the crime?
