Two 10 ft. ornamental columns for sale.

They are white and in excellent condition. Freshly painted and no dents or dings. Tuscan style base and top (see attached pictures).

    $100 OBO.

These are hard to find and would make an excellent addition to any room. Also could be used for stage props or science projects.

Here are some pictures of them:

We have a Fitzgerald and I recently removed them from the master bedroom.

Just personal preference - we never really thought they fit right with our style and I took them out. Opened the room up more.

Did you remove them all by yourself? By removing it, will it cause any problem to the structure?

Me and my father in-law did it.

I was concerned at first that they might be load bearing, but after doing it I can confirm that they are just ornamental columns not supporting anything.

We climbed up a ladder and used a crowbar/hammer to remove the finishing nails, trim and caulk around the top where the column is connected to the ceiling. After that the column could be removed just by pushing it over as it is not connected in any way on the floor. There was even finished drywall on the ceiling underneath where the column was connected. A little patching from where the crowbar and hammer were, some ceiling paint and it looks good as new.

On the bottom there is a 12x12 square which I put a marble tile square.

If anyone is interested in doing it, let me know and I can help you.

Where did you buy them? I have been looking for them for a while. Checked all the lumberyards around. No luck. It was too late by the time I saw your posting.

    Thanks
