Homeless Shelter Coming to Ashburn - Meeting Oct.23

if you read thru this ENTIRE thread you'd find just as many people are concerned that the location is wrong for those in NEED, not just for those who LIVE here. none of us are anti homeless, without compassion, and not willing- or even actively- reaching out to the less fortunate. painting with those broad strokes just keeps the real problem from being addressed and degenerates into personal insults, and frankly- does the folks in need NO GOOD when this location could become simply another burden to those who need the services.

Steve and Linux: Thanks for the info and support! I am 100% fine with all other biz there, in fact I frequent them alot, just not the Steakhouse.

Marie: I too paid my way through school. I was not hungry but we were tight. I did live in a bad area in my early years and I don't want it here. Women and children are fine, it's the others that are not. No one wants to put out families.

Are you absolutely sure she said she let homeless sleep in her store over night?
I was also told that there was a talent scout at the meeting and Melianie or Melinda not to sure of her name (sorry if mispelled) might get a contract for her acting job when she spoke.
