I would like to get some portraits of my toddler done, but I don't want to pay a ton. Does anyone have experience with JC Penney's, Sears, or Walmart? Other ideas? I had a bad experience with one of those mall places once, but am willing to listen if you have good things to say about one of those, too.

    TIA.

We've been going to Sears in the Dulles Town Center for a year now for our daughter. They do absolutely wonderful work! Prior to Sears, we used Picture People and were very disappointed.

When we go, we try to schedule all of our pictures with Laura. Betty (the Manager) is good too, but Laura has a great eye and we're always thrilled with her work.

I have digital copies of the pictures so if you're interested, PM me your email address and I'll email you a picture so you can see if you like their work.

We use Portrait Innovations. My twins never smile at the same time. 90% of the time, one or both are making ridiculous faces at the last second. I like that Portrait Innovations takes 36 poses, so we have many more chances of getting a good one. My girls were so silly last year that I think they took about 100 shots for us :)
