dunno- we have only submitted one claim and i went over every line item with cust. care, and she explained it all. is your dog older, or did it have a pre exisiting condition? i would give them a call- they really speak plain english- not insurance gobbledeegook! and are very helpful

btw Erica- I am recovering well- almost slipped and fell today at Petsmart- but otherwise, no drama from this mama!
    :) thanks for asking.

and the current countdown til your pea arrives...?

Another thumbs up for Dr. Bruzzese and the staff at Caring Hands. We have taken both of our cats there and they were treated very well.

Stream Valley is good that is who we use, for both grooming and normal vet stuff.

I would not use Stream Valley Vet. They prescribed medicine to our cat for behaviour issues without informing us of the risks and it ended up killing him. Their behaviour after he died was inexcusable, too. As for Caring Hands, we visited them recently and their service and attitude was completely different than Stream Valley's. We really liked them.

I have been using VPI Insurance for the past year and have been satisfied. It really pays to have the insurance in emergency and for non routine Vet visits.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Pender Veterinary Clinic. I have been using them for years and they are absolutely terrific. The distance from Ashburn is the only downfall - however the service they provide is second to none. I have tried several Vets in the Ashburn area (Ashburn Farm, Village, Stream Valley) and have gotten the impression they over test and are simply trying to get the most money per visit. Pender does not pressure or push for unnecessary testing - they will inform you of all the options and will give an HONEST and TRUSTWORTHY opinion of what should be done. I trust them 100%. I am partial of Dr. Julie Brown - she has been my contact for years with both my old dog (passed away August 2006) and my new pup i've had since last February. For any emergency or non routine visit I ALWAYS go to Pender. I use Stream Valley for routine shots because of the close proximity to home.

another thumbs up for Old Mill in Leesburg. The doctors and tech's are wonderful, no pressure or upselling and they really take the time with your "fur kids". I find the prices very reasonable too.
