I talked the superintendents by IHop the other day and the same company is building both restaurants but two different supers.

Well they are jokingly having a race to see which one gets done first. Hint Bertucci's has a three week head start.

They are shooting for a thanksgiving time opening for both.

That wont happen for various reasons.

    1. I am not even close to being at the level of brewmastery to open or serve a pub.
    2. My idea of a pub would be something that people in this area would not like. No Huge screen tv's, no food(cept the pretzels and peanuts), no kids, and just a pool table or two and some dart boards for entertainment. A bar should be a place to escape...not a place to take the things you want to escape from.
    3. No finances.

I would definitely come to your place. Any chance we can maybe have a small acoustic band or something on Friday nights?

Small acoustic bands on one night of the week:Thumbs up.
Jukebox:Thumbs up...although the volume would be se so that people could talk.

liquor would be available but only sold in one of three ways. Straight up, on the rocks, with tonic.

And ladies dont despair. We would have a ladies night. But with a twist. I'd hire the biggest baddest lady in the area to punch any man who tried to walk through the door in his hoo-haa parts.

Stopped by Fudruckers & Bertucci's today.

The builder was there for both places.

He said Bertucci's should open Dec 17th as said before.

Now good old Fudruckers has been delayed to dec 31 due to owner not suppling certain items as per plans. He seemed a little worried about meeting that date because he was at the mercy of the owner coming through.

The moral of this story is and it came back to me when I used to build, the owners and home owners can delay a project immensely by not suppling or choosing items in a timely fashion. Some items can take a long time to get and for some reason many a time the builder gets blamed for not finishing in time. Always pick out items as soon as possible or it can turn into a mess for everyone concerned. A lot of items need to be picked out even before the foundation because it may require special plumbing and electrical or even special framing from heavier then usual items or whatever. Very costly both in time and money and changes later.

Boy you can tell I am bored at the moment waiting for a client to show up writing all this junk.:)

Fudruckers burgers make my stomach go sour real fast. Nothappy they are here, Bertucci's yep!

Lee hope your client eventually got there! Boy you were steemed! But I get what you say...sometimes change orders are essential when something doesnt' work - in say a remodel- but you contact an Architect, you better damn well be fully prepared with ideas, cut sheets, pictures, the works..else how will the Architect know what you really want to do or get a feel for you likes and dislikes...

It wasn't a microbrewery, but a pub type place. It is no longer part of the plans over there. It got replaced by something else...maybe Bertucci's.

    Wishful thinking maybe.

They are still building something over by the potbelly and I thought it had some kind of sign saying it was a pub or brewpub of some type. Might have been an old sign.

Guess I'll keep going to sweetwater.

It might still be coming, but I thought I read somewhere that it was being replaced. I could be wrong.

The siteplan shows "Bungalow Ale House" between Potbelly and Bertucci's. Google has no info about it that I can find.
