Lee, I hope EVERYONE reads this and I hope you are ashamed of yourself. This is EXACTLY what people are talking about--needless and shameless scare tactics. So keep spouting this stuff, it makes you look like a desperate moron who can't think. It's beyond stupid.

    Lee -

This one takes the cake...ROLF!!!Sir - slowly get up and carefully step away from the :censored:keyboard.

Valid point & sounds like the greedway would have a liability issue on their hands???

But your last paragraph is a bit of stretch and let's not get into a socio-economically heated debate about healthcare...bad very bad.

Um, read my threads, Lee, and read yours. Mine are about positive news with the economy, positive news from Iraq, positive foreign policy developments, the positive side of foreclosures (more affordable housing), etc. You are Mr Doom and Gloom (Mr. Death Trap now), and everyone comments on it regularly.

Silence and what is your answer to this potential tragedy waiting to happen at the toll booth.

Silence instead of disregarding everything you don't like hearing as fear mongering and perhaps recognize and solve potential deadly problems. I am not ashamed for asking these tough questions. This is something that needs to be addressed if this hospital is built. So come up with an solution Mr Silence not dish it. I am sure our emergency personal would want an solution to it. They always are concerned with these potential scenarios of tragedy.

Are you serious? This is shameless. If a situation is THAT critical, you'd call for an ambulance. "Too poor to have a credit card?" There are simply too many illogical points to address here. Where do you get this crap?!

And if it's a critical emergency, I would be crashing through the gate. This isn't about BRMC, this is a greenway issue then.

Every time I take the greenway (which isn't often) I notice that the unmanned exits always have at least one lane where the gate is up allowing cars to pass if they should choose not to pay. This argument is absurd anyway as I can't imagine someone in a life or death situation would choose wasting time to find a way to pay the toll verses simply driving through/around/over curb/however.

Ok - Lee how about this...

Family A has health insurance (PPO) via employer & they have been involved in a MVA
Family B has no health insurance (needs a translator) and their newborn has a 104 temp
Family C owns a small business, pays for their own insurance (HMO) and their 9 year old has an non-clotting cut on the arm

Families arrive to the only hospital in Loudoun within 10 minutes of each other to an already congested ED because of another MVA, stabbing victim, CC and unresponsive patient.

Guess who will be seen first?

At least VM is pretty out in the open with screwing over residents.

I dont want a resident board member like Donna who abused her power by sending out letters to residents on hoa letterhead against BRMC. The letter appeared to come from our HOA office and it was wrong for her to do this - IMO our HOA should have thrown her off the board then and there.

Donna's behavior was fraudulent and speaks to the lengths iNova will go to in protecting their monopoly of healthcare.

both my speeds passes are fixed to each of our cars, my wallet holds at least 2 of my credit cards and my hubby carries his wallet. So maybe for some out of towners or new comers this would be an issue, but those who travel the greedway I dont think this agruement has merit.

OK Pea now that we have this out of the way. What days and hours can we expect you to volunteer at the toll booth to help the less fortunate thru.

Silence... I honestly do not know who has started that blog.

Do I think Inova Loudoun would keep their doors open if less than a 1/3 of the beds were full...yes. They have been serving this community for close to 100 hundred years so my guess would be that they have done just that.

You may think that article doesn't equate to this location, but it certainly does show a history. Search that and I think you will see how often HCA has closed hospitals because the bottom line wasn't good enough.

They certainly should show compassion, they are in the care giving business and to deny people healthcare is certainly not what hospitals should stand for.

I absolutley should expect them to be a good neighbor, it's sad that you already feel that they wouldn't be.

For those of you that are reading these posts, do your own research to determine what the facts are and who is telling the truth.

We each are entitled to our own opinion, just not our own facts...

heck yeah I'll let as many people thru so they dont pay the sky high tolls:p that is before I get fired. and I have sat down with BRMC to ask question - I've been a patient of inova and thank you no - their patient care is horrible which is why I continue to leave the county (and state) to get better care.

Lee, I am simply fighting fire with fire. At least my "silly stuff" is not several paragraphs of poorly architectural ramblings.

On a SERIOUS note however. SERIOUSLY, your posts would BE TAKEN more SERIOUSLY if you would simply give them a cursory once over before posting. I think you have plenty of valid things to say but I am like alot of other readers and when I see a 1000 word essay of yours I tend to read a few words and give up. And the few posts that I do read, I have to concentrate so hard and re-read to figure out what the hell you are saying that I get a migraine! :conf4:

I love ya man but please clean up your posts a TAD!

Thank you for answering. So no matter what project gets put before the county, one complaint from one person who thinks it will hurt their property values means the county will deny the application.
You've finally demonstrated how inane your viewpoints are.
    Thank you.

So let me get this straight.

HCA is bad for closing a small, under-used hospital with 2 hospitals nearby. AND HCA is also bad for wanting to open a hospital in a area that needs one, with a hospital nearby.

would you be willing to swear in court about this and the loudounheath facts? At times like this I wish you could be FOIA'd b/c your email on 12/13 talks about a new-website

Lets look at the geo & demo graphic make up of the area. Not an apples to apples and more mis-representation of facts coming from you. Geez big surprise there.

facts...that is rich coming from you Donna. HCA has the cert of need, but in inova's business plan loudoun doesnt have a need until we reach 99%...come on.
As stated you are tainted b/c of who you work for and the fearmonger you've infected our community with.

The county has a documented need, I'm still on the fence about the location - but inova wants to retain their monoply - and in the fond words of Bmunsey - NO SALE.
