Eclips Salon and Eclips for Kids--Opinions or Recommendations??

I wanted to ask for recommendations and/or opinions concerning Eclips Salon & Spa and also Eclips for Kids that is in Ashburn Village Center. I read the online reviews and was curious if anyone could recommend someone that can cut boys and girls hair and style and do a good job for straight hair on boys and wavy/some curl on girls.

We have an out-of-town wedding coming up in 2 weeks and our regular hair stylist has left the place where we took our kids. Our boys have straight hair and usually do a buzz in the summer and short the rest of the year. The girls have slightly wavy/curly hair--not too curly.

Thanks again for your help. I had heard that Eclips for Kids was pretty reasonable $15 or so for kids. Any ideas on who to use at the Eclips Salon or for the Eclips Kids Salon would be appreciated.

Chantal is a great stylist at Eclips. I've been going to her for several years. My daughters have had their hair styled by her as well and Chantal does a great job at styles for prom season.

 

Eclips for kids was waayy too expensive for my taste! I took my then 9 year old daughter and my five year old son for a haircut and walked out $60 poorer, including tip. And the haircut was no better than supercuts, especially for my son, who only gets a buzz cut. $25 for a kids cut is crazy.

I highly recommend Divine Salon next to Panera, Ann or Hue both do an excellent job! I can't remember how much they charge for a kids cut but it is very reasonable. I also used them for my hair as well.

 

We won't go back to Eclips for kids. I took my daughter and signed in, like at cartoon cuts, and had an immediate appointment. The stylist took us back and we had a consultation. As soon as we were going to the shampoo bowl with my daughter the late appointment arrived with his daughter and we were asked to come back in a couple hours.

I thought that was rude and no, I did not have time to come back. So we went back to cartoon cuts and Tran (lady, not the man). She does a great job.

I also have seen several children getting their hair done at Bubbles at Dulles Town Center.
