Watertank - mashpotato looking stuff

    We noticed where the pipe goes into the top of our water tank, there is a cloud of what looks like mashpotato gunk on it. Anyone know what the heck it is and what kind of water tank warranty VM had in Southern Walk.

    Sounds like you're getting galvanic corrosion caused by two different metals, such as a copper to steel connection:
