I've been searching all the old posts here and have tons of information - but, I have a few more questions I'd love some help with.

    1) Has anyone added an egress window to a basement bedroom in the last year or so? If so, how much was it? Also, would you be willing to let us look at it? I'm trying to plan and picture what it will look like both from the inside and outside - which is hard from just internet photos.

    2) There are tons are recommendations for basement contractors here on this forum. We have a finished basement already, but want to redesign it and add an additional bedroom and home theater. I'd love recommendations from this year if you've used someone recently for this type of work.

    Thanks everyone!

We are just finishing up some work on our house and used Moss Construction. They have done an excellent job. All their employees have been great to work with. I spoke to 4 or 5 different companies before deciding on them. To give you an idea as to what they did for us, we have a Spruce model with a 2 story family room. We had them add a floor on to make it two seperate rooms. They also did a lot of additional work such as moving our laundry room and creating a cofferred ceiling. All excellent workmanship.

Call Jason Hampel, the owner. He will come out to discuss your project with you.
