Dentist

I need a dentist with evening or weekend hours in Ashburn. I want to have crown put on an implant and have my teeth whitened but want options - like besides the Zoom method etc.. anyone recommend a good cosmetic dentist in the area?

Dr. Michael Han in the Ashburn Farm Professional (near Giant) is pretty good and relatvely new. He has the nice bonus of having a TV in each room, so you can watch the news or something else while he is drilling away. His number is: 703-723-9909

 

I used to go to Ashburn Dental Arts, but ended up not too happy with them. I now drive a bit further, I see Dr. Kirkpatrick in Reston, who is just exceptional, albeit a bit more expensive.

Has anyone used the dental office in the Broadlands shopping center? I can't remember the dentist's name and am trying to find a local person to patronize rather than drive to Reston for mediocre care.

 

Dr. Rizvi is my dentist, he works in the Broadlands Center opposite the Sunoco on Truro Parish Drive. He did some bridge work on my front teeth, I am very happy with the results. His number is 7038581904. His examinations are thorough and he does root canals, extractions, and all that. I think he might be starting saturday hours also. He is very approachable and entertaining!:notfunny:

 

Reston Dental Arts Center has evening and some Saturday hours. I believe they have appts from 7 am to 8 pm. I have gone ther for over 20 years.

 

Reston Dental Art Center, I don't like them...all they think about is MONEY..MONEY..been there..done that...not HAPPY..

 

Are you talking about the dentist in Southern Walk Plaza, near Anothai?

If so, I don't recommend him. I went to him after part of a filling came out and part of the containing tooth broke. He chose to try and replace the filling. There were various issues with the procedure and then the filling came out a couple weeks later.

I'm trying to find a different dentist to fix the tooth (root canal/crown) so looking for recommendations.

The dentist that I go to is not in the southern walk plaza. The dentist that I go to his name is Zia Rizvi. He cell phone # is 301-520-6587. He will tell you everything as is, if he feel that you needed a crown then you should go ago and do it. He is a really good dentist I have 2 crown done by him, it was an all ceramic crown. I hope that you find my information helpful, you should go and check out his office and have a feel of what type of a dentist he is. Good luck, hope that help.

Alright, this blog actually strikes close to my heart - before getting into my career here - I worked for two dentists offices.

Suprisingly I actually worked for Reston Dental Arts. Would you mind me asking which Dr. you saw there? While working for them was stressful because there were so many Doctors there, I must admit that they were the most professional offices that I have seen and visited.

I worked for the best Dr. that I have and will ever meet there. If it wasn't him that you saw, I would say that you switch to him.

Also, he is a prosthodontist and would help with the person that created this blog. It is his specialty.

 

I'm sorry I don't like to name any name, it's just I would not want to go to that office anymore, I think they are all about money. If I wanted to go to anyone I would go to someone who care for my needs, not their. I'm happy to say that I would stay with my dentist now. He listen and ask me what I need and what I want for him to do. The dentist that I go to his name is Dr. Zia Rizvi in Broadland.

 

I would suggest Dr. Scott Synnott at Reston Dental Arts for anyone. He's the absolute best dentist I've ever met.

 

I went to Dr. Baron in Southern Walk, next to Anothai twice. Once for cleanning up and once for filling. Both times are good and pleasant.
So far my fillings have not come out yet!

I totally agree about Reston Dental arts. I do think they are mostly in it for the money and have had some other bad experiences with a dentist their too. I recently found Dr. Le in Ashburn Village and have been very happy with him. I would highly recommend him.

 

I went there based off a recommendation from people on this board and was VERY pleased with the staff there and the quality of work (granted all I needed was a normal check up). I do find the TV's to be great!
