ultrasounds for dogs - where?

    has anyone here had to have an ultrasound done on their dog? if so, where did you go. if you remember the approximate cost it would be appreciated too. i went to south paws in fairfax last time, but wanted to see if there was anything else closer. thanks!

    I have not had to do it with my dog but I believe the new pet hospital in the Southern Walk plaza does it.

    Just FYI...we have had great experiences with Caring Hands with our Golden Retrievers...great care and much lower prices than Valley Stream.

    The Life Centre in Leesburg (across from the Outlet Malls) will definitely have the equipment to perfrom an ultrasound. They're not cheap and have a ton of specialists who are recognized as some of the best doctors in the US. We spent the better part of two weeks with the staff there last year. All great folks.

    Interested to hear what the price difference is, I have been taking my pet to Stream Valley for 5 years and only stick with it because of that history. Now that Dr Cole has left, it is not the place it used to be and I always feel rushed.
