    ...with Packet 8 (packet8.com)...

    I'll report back on how well it works with Adelphia...

    I don't use the home phone much as it is, and it costs me ~$35/month for just local service and call waiting... packet8 is $20/month for unlimited local/ld and all the features.

    Is anyone using VOIP (Vonage, Broadvox, Packet8, etc) around here?

    Speaking of Adelphia... I had been paying them $55/month since I don't have cable TV... I called to complain about the high cost and they knocked $10 off a month... might be worth a call to them if you think you're paying too much! =)
