General Contractor/Handyman

We had a roof leak, thanks to the builder not using flashing. We contacted James Home Improvements to do the work. They came out when they said, fixed the roof when they said, cost a little more because of problems under the siding that wasn't expected, and left dirty finger prints all over the siding, but overall a good experience. Asked them for estimate to repair inside damage from leak. Didnt' show up twice, to give estimate. Didn't call to say they weren't showing up. Didn't return calls in a timely fashion. When they did return calls, it was apparent that my job wasn't high priority. (they had some other jobs come in that they took instead of calling me!)
Got a referral from a friend. GENERATION BUILDERS came out and were GREAT! Called Gerry on Friday, he gave me a estimate over the phone. (needed some flooring put down in daughters room and we had all the materials.) he came out on Saturday and did the work. We were very pleased! Nice guy, worked hard, was on time and cost what he said it would cost. We have asked him to come out and fix the rest of the problems we have due to the leak and are going to get an estimate on tile work in the master bath! Would recommend him!!!
(we even got a customer service call to make sure we were happy.)
