Has anyone ever seen this type of error when starting any type of application within MS Office? The Visual Basic error shows up when I open or close a document. I've uninstalled and reinstalled my legitimate copy of Office, but it still doesn't go away. Thanks for any help!

From My Computer, you can browse to:
    C:\Documents and Settings\{your Windows User Name}\Application Data\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP

If I were you, I would update the virus dat file and then run the virus scan on the computer. Make sure you ave the latest virus definition before you run it.

Are you using DocumentsToGo software with your PDA? Word is looking for a template file called DVZWAddin.dot. Every time Word starts or stops it checks the template, finds a reference to the missing DVZAddin.dll file and spits back the error message. If you don't use DocumentsToGo, then just delete the template and the error is gone.

To locate the Word template, you can select Tools -> Option in MS Word and then check the "File Locations" for "User templates" and "Workgroup templates".

Or you can use the Find function in Windows Explorer to search for the file in your hard disk, however the template files are normally found in the:
C:Documents and Settings -> (username) -> Application Data -> Microsoft -> Templates folder

    Re-installing DocumentsToGo should fix everything.
