    just heard that he is back home but with memory loss after some brain swelling and bleeding. not quite sure of the facts, my source is a boy who knows him. but at least we know he is alive...

    Glad to hear he is home. Hope he recovers fully.

    On a related note, be careful in the Ashburn Farm Giant shopping center parking lot. I was there the other day and there were about a dozen or so kids skateboarding and 1 of them hit a curb and his board when flying back out into the street and almost hit a car.

    I know these kids need a place to skate and have fun but parking lots at lunch time (or anytime for that matter) are way too dangerous.

    They have a skatepark in Leesburg. They should be happy they have that.

    As a kid who grew up skating - having ANY skateparks even within hours of you is a big deal.

    I just read in the Easterner (or some local paper) that a skate park was approved for South Riding. Now the kids will have two places to go!
