    I'm a big fan of Labyrinth - use the accelerometer to direct the marble away from the holes (like the big wooden boxes). There's a free demo version.

    There's a DC traffic cam app, though I haven't needed to use it yet. Free.

    Weatherbug is nice - gives you radar (though not looping). Free.

    Facebook (obviously!).

    SportsTap - for all the sports scores you need - though sometimes it crashes on first open. Free.

    "Now Playing" (formerly "BoxOffice") - gives you movie reviews (based on Rotten Tomatoes), local movie times, direct links to trailers, and the ability to purchase through Fandango (I think). Quite handy, and, of course, FREE!

    - Weatherbug
    - iWant (uses GPS to find your location, then helps you locate services near you (restaurants, gas stations, hotels, stores, and so on). Great for traveling!
    - Shazam (identifies songs it hears based on a short sample.)
    - Subway (logic game similar to Sokoban)
    - VNC (used to control my computer when I'm away from it)
    - Wikipanion
    - Super Monkey Ball

    FireDrop and Wurdle are great little game apps! I have found wurdle especially addictive. I also second PhoneSaber (I still have it loaded on my iPhone).
