Hi, I'm an Independant Escential Consultant for Scentsy and I am participating in an event for Holiday Shopping down in Woodbridge community and they are having one at their community center, where there will be 25 or so vendors and I was wondering if Broadland's does the same thing.

    Thanks,

KZsMom - Check with the schools; Hillside Elem usually has a "One Stop Shopping" event in early December and they have booths set up for vendors to sell their goods and services.

There's a local networking group for home based business owners, maybe one of them will chime in with more info.

You could consider organizing one. Perhaps get in touch with the Events Committee and see if it might be feasible this fall sometime.

Broad Run's PTSO has been sponsoring a craft fair every fall and spring for about 20 years. The fall fair used to be gigantic - over 100 vendors, but In the past couple years, there have been fewer vendors. Accordingly, they've revamped it to be more of a craft/home show and I think they're calling it Market Day this year. It's Nov. 4, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

The Ashburn fire dept. is having a Christmas-in-October shopping event on Oct. 18. Not sure if it's too late to reserve a spot, but I would think that if they're not full, they'd be happy to add another vendor.

Also, Ashburn Farm is having a holiday craft fair on Nov. 15 at the Windmill Center and will take reservations from non-Ashburn Farm residents.

I'll PM you with the email registration contacts for all of these.

    Thanks Charlotte for the info.

I have a couple of events down in Woodbridge next month...

If anybody is interested in learning more about Scentsy or wanting a Scentsy catalog, PM me. Or might be interested in hosting a party. This is a wickless candle company and is perfect for your home or great as a holiday gift or housewarming gift. Again, pm me and I will send you my website address and give you a little more information..

    Thanks..

    Hi

Might be fun if Broadlands did have an annual holiday shopping event here in the neighborhood but I am not aware of one.

Anyway, not sure if this is something you'd be interested in and it is a bit short notice (although as of yesterday I believe they were still accepting more vendors)...

Ashburn Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department is having a Holiday Shopping Event on Saturday, October 18th from 10am - 4pm at the Ashburn Fire House at 20688 Ashburn Road.

I believe it is $20 per table for vendors (which is a decent price compared to some of the others in the area).

    Contact tina@ashburnfirerescue.org for more information.

    Hi

Yes, I knew about that one and was interested in participating but I didn't have any inventory on hand and they were asking for 20% of contribution to the fire and rescue from my sales.. so I decline to do it..
