Vinyl Siding Repairs

I have a small area of damaged vinyl siding on my house and am looking for someone who can perform minor repairs. I also need info on what brand of siding was used and where to buy it. We have a Van Metre home that was built in 98/99 but are not the original owners. I would appreciate any suggestions.

You guys may want to contact Van Metre. Ours is a 97/98 model that we purchased this past Sept. and there were some issues along the side of the garage/family room near the fireplace. It had started to warp. Van Metre said it was under warranty and they replaced all of the siding on that side of the house - also did one of our neighbors. If you want further info - let me know and I can try to find contact info., etc. I believe the gentleman's name was Paul.

Looking for feedback on the vinyl siding issue. I too own Van Metre home built in 2000. I just realized the warping of my siding that is along gas fireplace outlet. I would hope this is not due to excessive heat from the gas fireplace outlet"gulp"

Anyone else? Have you had any luck with Van Metre? Obviously, my warranty has expired.

 

I'm sorry - I meant to post this. The guy, Paul, at the Pulte Main Warranty office, 703.359.7480, is the guy who helped with our siding
problem. Our house is well outside of the warranty period and they still fixed it at no cost.

Terptide - that is where ours was as well. However, it didn't have to do with the fireplace, but rather the reflection of the sun from a window. Our neighbors had the same issue and Pulte took care of theirs too.

Yeah - it was Pulte. I didn't realize that until I looked it up and meant to comment on it yesterday. Sorry guys. Hopefully Van Metre can help. The guy at Pulte has been great.
