Saturday, September 19th will be the date for the 10th Annual “19 Holes for Hospice” golf scramble tournament.

The tournament was started in 2006 by the family and friends of Scott A. Vivian, a Broadlands neighbor who lost his battle with cancer. Capital Caring provided hospice support to Scott and his family, and 100% of the proceeds from this annual event have gone to the Loudoun County arm of Capital Caring.

The scramble-format tournament will be held at the Westpark Golf Course in Leesburg, VA. The shotgun start is 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 19. The entry fee is $75, which includes golf, cart and a buffet dinner following the event. Raffles for many items donated by area Broadlands businesses will also help raise funds for Capital Caring.

A registration form is attached. Anyone interested in either sponsoring a hole or donating items for the raffle can go to http://www.19holesforhospice.com/ , or contact Mike Pratt at 703-606-9401.

Don't wait too long to register - the tournament has sold out for the last two years!

It's just two weeks until the 10th (and the final) "19 Holes for Hospice" golf tournament. The field is already more than half full with lots of Broadlands residents - if you plan to play, get your team in now. We've also collected a number of contributions from area businesses for prizes and raffles. Remember, all proceeds go to Capital Caring!
