Need Advice After School programs for KG at MRES

My son will be attending KG at MRES from next year.

Can you please sugeest good centers for after school programs, ones which have pick up from MRES?
also any info on good after school activities in/around MRES?

If you are looking for something that involves additional education, I highly recommend Golden Pond School. In my opinion, their Kindergarten Enrichment program is excellent and our kid seemed to do much more learning and having fun their then in the public kindergarten. They have after care if you need assistance when the enrichment program ends as well, which is 2-something. You need AM kindergarten though for them to pick up, and I think that is true for most programs.

If you need specific times, I strongly recommend writing a note to the school principal and the transportation department requesting AM or PM kindergarten. They won't guarantee it, but if you are willing to drive (or walk) them there yourself, you can almost always get what you want if you request early enough.

 

Thanks for the suggestion. We have checked out kindercare previously and are looking at open Arms as one of the options. Will check out GoldenPond too

I think our home comes in one of the walk zones/streets for next year( saw the list on this forum). I hope that gets factored in for getting slotted in AM KG.

 

If your child attends a child care center, they are automatically placed in AM kindergarten.
