Well the January HH was another grand successful by my good buddy T8erman. Small group this time with Erica from the Washington Post who brought her beautiful friend that grew up in New York City. Of course the very lovely MomOfThree was there. And Cliff who seems to be everywhere including my meeting with the wonderful Hospital people ha ha ha ha ha I don't know how he heard about it that meeting or maybe the Hospital people were afraid of me that I would start some crazy talk which I did not. I would still like a preliminary set of plans though

Anyway one of my all time favorite people from this forum Redon1 was there. Come on how can you just not love her she is just a wonderful and very smart and entertaing to be around. She would be great at having her very own PR firm. Still can't believe Redon1 you are from Nebraska you are so worldly ANyway before any of you take the Nebraska comment wrong I love people from Nebraska as well as anyone from any part of our planet, that are good people. Jeez Hopefully I got my self out of that one

All I can say Clydes is one of the nicest bars on the planet especially the little one that we hung out at over looking the courtyard with the roaring fire going and Clydes is just one of the most beautiful Restaurants around anywhere. Maybe the hospital can take some design lessons from it

Anyway I had a great time as usual and Cliff and T8erman did not beat me up too much perhaps they are waiting for more to help them at the next Happy Hour ha ha ha ha.

So where was everyone that said they were coming????

I had SO much fun- great company + great conversation and Clydes truly is beautiful. gave us some pretty good apps on the house and the wine was delish. Erica and Cindy and Maureen- thanks for keeping the esrogen level high enought to control the T*-tosterone at the table! lol T8 you are always so much fun- I can't WAIT to meet T8ergirl- you spoke so highly of her, and i look forward to meeting the woman who is with you day in and day out! lol

Lee, Cliff- i learn so much from both of you- our happy hours are such a great mix of ppl and personalities- hope the bar crawl turns out a few more of you lurkers!!!

Glad "y'all" had a good time at your HH last night.

Just got off the phone with the Farmers Cooperative in PA where we will be travelling to this weekend. Anyway it looks like the Produce Buying Club will be a "go" soon. Wholesale and Certified Organic Produce at wholesale prices!

We are checking out bringing more Amish/Mennonite foods to the area.
Even though hubby is in the Defense industry--he helps out when he can.
Hope you enjoy the sources, etc.

Did any of you get to try my fritters? If not--that is okay. I can also do lowfat versions of Mennonite baked goods, cakes, pies, breads, and other dishes. If interested--PM me.

Allow me to refresh your memory...you told me you had a meeting scheduled with BRMC and that you were going to bring along some people. I asked you who. You said "Dalyn and you and maybe one or two others."
Excuse me for attending a meeting you invited me to. Quite frankly, it was a rather boring meeting and not a good use of my time.

 

Cliff you have an excellent memory, ha ha ha anyway it is hard to discuss things when you don't get to see what they are doing. Something this complex takes a lot of study and thinking. I beginning to think it is an conspiracy that nobody wants me to have a set of plans to study. Everyone one seems to say they are available but they never seem to show up. Further I get the feeling the more they can keep these plans under wraps from the public the better. They should be available to all of us in the community to comment on. Saying they are available and actually having them give me a set or have an set available to the community seems to be two very different things.

OK T8 no more from me on the hospital in this thread. But I will leave it at if you say you are neutral but bring up potential problems about this hospital all of a sudden you are branded anti hospital which is not so with many of this that want to discuss this in depth.
