I like adventure gaming - games like the Myst Series, The Longest Journey, Scratches, 7th Guest. Anybody else?

Not interested in battling at all. The biggest problem I see is that the best games come out every 2-3 years so the wait is immense! I am currently awaiting the comedy Vampire story. I loved Grim Fandango when it came out in 1999. Loom, Monkey Island, The Zork Games, Keepsake, Schizm (way too hard!) Siberia,Starship Titanic, URU, yes I've played all of these and more.

Lucas Arts and Sierra used to make great adventure games! There are gamers like me around the world who wait with baited breath for something other than DOOM, Bioshock, Halo, Battlefield 2140, etc...

So are any of you out there lurking waiting for your chance to chat about this topic, or am I the "only the lonely" one here?

I'm a big fan of the Sierra adventure games from the 80s - Police Quest, Space Quest, and Kings Quest series.

Monkey Island and Sam and Max are also favorites of mine.

The Indiana Jones series of Lucas Arts was also good too.

Have you guys looked into the Neverwinter Nights series? Or are those too far into the RPG realm?

    HA HA Kaos!

Neverwinter Nights- never looked at it. I've heard about it though. RPG's can be similar to some adv games, but no I've never played the series.

Neverwinter Nights is good. It's based on D&D ideas. I don't like Neverwinter 2 as much as the original. I am a big fan of Blizzard games. I love the Original Starcraft and can't wait for Starcraft Ghost to come out. I have gotten back into playing Diablo2 lately. I haven't tried World of Warcraft as I have Xbox Live and I can only afford 1 pay to play.
