Need Advice Ashburn medical center(Dr Ditranto) closing

Dr Ditranto at Ashburn Medical Center has been our best family doctor ever for last 8 years and now he is moving to Partners MD programs and closing this office. -

I am not sure yet if we will go for the partners MD program where you have to pay monthly fee by per person. I also want to evaluate other available options.

Can you guys please share your experience and recommendation for other Family Practices in this area?

I've been a big fan of Broadlands Family practice (6+ years as our family's GP) and I especially value their Sat AM hours.

 

+1 for Broadlands Family Practice. They have great hours and competent Doctors and staff.

 

These membership practices will increase. This is the future trend of primary care.

 

I too was extremely disappointed to see Dr D go. We've had him as our family doctor for probably 15 years and he's been exceptional. I actually looked on these forums for practice recommendations and am trying out the Leesburg Sterling Family Practice (http://www.yourfamilymed.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/site.locations/action/dtl/loc/16423.cfm) over in the Harris Teeter shopping center. They're located where that Starbucks used to be.

I don't have experience with them yet to give you any feedback, but I'd read a few good reviews and so I'm giving them a try.
