Basement Crack Repair

We have a couple of cracks in the basement wall that leak when it rains. Does anyone have experience with:

a. Hiring a contractor to inject the cracks. Successful? What cost?
b. DIY repair using one of the urethane injection kits. Successful?

I had to have the builder come out and repair the cracks in my foundation. I had over 17 cracks! They used an epoxy to cover the cracks and then used a hydrollic (sp) press to inject into the cracks. after this, I did not have any more leaks. after he completed this repair, I went and painted it with Drylock to seal all of the walls.

To follow up. I used a two-part urethane foam injection kit from Emecole (http://www.basementandcrawlspacepro...ackrepairkitsdiy_E_concretecrackrepairkitsdiy)
to repair two cracks in the basement.

It was not hard to use (but messy) and took a total of about 5 hours. The only hiccup was that with all of the rock that was used as backfill along the foundation, there were voids that required more urethane than provided. I ended up having to order extra urethane cartridges at a discount from Emecole. Altogether, about $320 in material.

The test has been the recent rains - a dry basement now.
