I need to move a few 6ft. tall bookshelves from Reston to Ashburn, and then some misc. furniture from Ashburn to Dulles/Herndon this weekend. Anyone have any recommendations on renting a truck? Thanks!

Not sure, but maybe you could rent one of the Home Depot or Lowes trucks they have available for customers? Only thing is I'm not sure if you have to 'buy' something there first...

If you have a vehicle with a trailer hitch (or access to one), the open trailers are really cheap. Reserve on Uhaul.com. We're getting a 5X9" open trailer this weekend, one way from Sterling to New Market, VA for 2 days for $44. If we returned it back to Sterling, it was $24.

The U-Haul on Rt 606 in Sterling is very convenient. Get their early if you're renting a trailer, the good ones go fast.

yea I would advise not going to Home Depot. The rate I believe is $19.95 an hour so not so good for trips around town. And you do not have to buy anything to rent.

Yea, the U-haul is the way to go.
