Big pool open during Wed afternoon meets?

    Is the big pool open during Wed afternoon meets?

    Just curious if anyone knows if the So Walk pool will remain open during today's (and all future) afternoon meets. Thanks!

    No during afternoon meets the pool closes. There are too many people in the pool area to allow both activities to occur safely.

    Is there a meet schedule available so that the residents will know in advanced when the pool will be closed for meets? When you refer to Wednesday afternoon meets, what time to do they end or are you just out of luck for using Southern Walk Pool for the rest of the day if there is a meet?

    There is usually a schedule in the newsletter - but I have not looked this season
    The pool closes at 4:30 on the day of the meet (there is normally only 3 home wed meets a season at SW) and the meet runs until around 10 so the pools is closed for the rest of the day
    From the ODSL swim teams website it looks like the only Home Wed meet left is July 6th.

    REA3FAN, most of the beginning of the summer is when the teams monopolizes pool. After Mid July it's wide open and usually empty. So enjoy!
