    Hi ,

Appreciate good ideas on B'DAY party ideas for 4 year old Boy in Feb 2005 .I am not sure where to go for arranging a innovative party .Tried at "Curiosity Zone" they are booked untill Feb .

"Ice House" doesnt sound good either (expensive)

    My budget is around $200.00

    Appreciate it

    Thanks

Chuck E. Cheese. OK, so it's not original, but 4 year olds would love it.

Would you consider an at-home party and bring in a clown?

Yeah, we always had home parties. Twice we had a clown, but we learned after that second time that my younger daughter did not like clowns... (you know, there are people out there that do not like clowns?) Anyway, she was a really cute and fun clown.
I don't know, do 4 year olds need something better than that now?
    Wow, $200...
Yes, 4 year olds do like chuckecheese and the gym thing.
I agree to nix the ice house. Not that fun, kids get cold and bruised up.

There is a cool article in Child magazine this month about how to have a great bday party. I'm sure you could find it on their site- a quick search on it gave me these tips http://www.child.com/living_in_style/parties_recipes/ultimate_bday.jsp

We recently went to a party where the parents had hired 2 preteens to help with the party. They put tattoos on the kids, helped with the art project, etc. It kept things moving really smoothly.

    Have fun - good luck!

For my son's 4th birthday party, we hired a group that brings ocean animals to parties. The kids loved it. There is also a group that does reptiles, Reptiles Alive. For his 5th birthday, we had a gymnastics party at Chantilly Academy. It was fun and kept the kids very busy.
