Anyone know why I would turn on my computer and find all my Firefox bookmarks gone? :bawling:

your firefox profile pooped itself. It seems to do that from time to time. You can try finding the file folder in the documents and settings folder and try copying the stuff over.

The profile handling of firefox is problematic. Its more stable then it used to be, but it still craps out from time to time.

    from their website
On Windows XP/2000, the path is usually %AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default\, where xxxxxxxx is a random string of 8 characters. Just browse to C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ and the rest should be obvious.

there should be a bookmarks.html file in there I believe.

You can start firefox with the -p extension to load the profile manager and create a new profile and copy files into that profile if desired.
