Has anyone tried the newest Thai restaurant in Ashburn called Bangrak Thai in the Ryan Park Shopping Center right across from Panera?

Also, has anyone tried the new Japanese restaurant next the Kaiser Building right behind the center?

Red Robin is coming along and looks to be moving quickly.

I noticed there's something being built in the Ashburn Farm shopping center by McDonald's. Anyone know what that is?

I believe Red Robin is scheduled to open in January. Chipotle is anticipated for late October, but "we don't have a firm date yet" (from a response I just received from Chipotle customer service).

Mr. Linux - I think the practical answer is that Middleburg Bank will vacate its current space in the office building. They're building a stand-alone bank, which gives them better access, parking, drive-thrus, etc.

Too many thai restuarants in Ashburn...
I counted at least 8 thai restaurants.
I'm gonna start calling them "Mickey Thai'z"

Well, based on poster's reviews of the restaurants, we need all eight to satisfy everyone. Also heard that Anita's plans to open around Thanksgiving timeframe.

There are quite a lot of them. Every time I pass by the one in Southern Walk, I read the name as Another Thai...

Went there last nite and thoroughly enjoyed the food! The only drawback is that they do not have a kids menu, but other than that nothing bad I can say about our experience.

We waited far too long to try Bangrak...but tried it last night being fairly certain that we wouldn't have a long wait. The food and service were really excellent, and the kids enjoyed it, too. We do love Anothai, but Bangrak is a nice change.

Back to someone else's recommendation...we really need to support these local businesses or we will lose them. I highly recommend that you try Bangrak if you enjoy Thai.

We have been to Bangrak Thai a few times including on Mother's Day and it has never been more than a third filled. Nice decor, great service and very good food. Prices and menu options are very good too. We also found on their website you can pay $10 to get a $25 gift certificate (or $3 for a $10 one). You can do one per month. My wife and I can eat a full dinner there with appetizers for a little more than $15.

What a find this place is. We tried it for the first time last night (since our favorite Thai Basil closed) and loved the decor, the atmosphere and the food was fresh and delicious. The happy hour menu features $3 appetizers and a stylish bar. We'll be back.

It wasn't too busy for a Saturday night, I hope they can stay afloat.

Bangrak is my kids' favorite restaurant! I looked at the website re: $10 to get a $25GC, but did not find it. Do you have the link? TIA.
