Our daughter is going to be in a wedding next month. She has the bridesmaid dress. It needs to be hemmed. The fabric is that chiffon fabric. Does anyone know of a wonderful seamstress that does this sort of thing?
I can sew, but I do not do chiffon :-D

We did have a advertiser in the Oct newsletter offering sewing instruction...can't vouch for her work, but if you want to email me at mburns@broadlandshoa.com I'll give you her contact info

Leesburg Bridal did great great jobs on alterations/hemming for my sister's bridal party. Our skirts had the chiffon overlay and the hemming was very well done.

I had some evening pants hemmed right at the cleaners near the Sunoco. The pants had two-layers -- one rayon underneath, the other a chiffon-type fabric. The seamstress did a wonderful job. I think the cost was only $8 or so. Probably a bit more for a full dress hem, but she really did a great job.

Thank you for all of your suggestions.
I think we might check Leesburg Bridal first... see how expensive $$$ it might to be...
I have a lot of experience with all sorts of sewing but not into hemming chiffon.
I might go have a look at the cleaners too... see what is up with them and the extent of their hemming abilities.

Again, thank you very much. These are some great ideas!
