Though I have lived here for 11 years, have never actually visited one of the neighborhood pools (though I have a pool pass). We have friends visiting in June with a 2 year old. Thought I would take them to the pool one day. Any advice which pool would work best in terms of appropriateness for a two year old and level of crowding on a weekend?

The 2 year old would love "summerbrooke" pool off of Demott. There is a little playground outside of the pool area, and the pool itself is geared for younger children, with "beach" access into the pool, meaning the toddler can just walk into the water splashing their feet as they go. Very low level at the entry point and can even go just to their ankles to splash around if that is where they are comfortable in the pool. The water at that pool tends to be colder than the other pools, but the kids don't mind. Hope that helps!

For a 2 year old you will want to go to the Pool on Demott (known as Summerbrooke pool). That is where the pool is dedicated to small kids. Weekends in June will be crowded at all the pools but not too bad.

I agree with above, this pool is perfect for toddlers, they can play in the shallow, walk in area. It can be tough to find a shaded area if you arrive too late.

Just FYI, the fountains at the fountain pool are not working.
