400 meter Pool Swim in a 50 meter pool
    Well managed bike course
    Flat, flat, flat run

There were twinkies after the run last year. Enough reason for me to return.

[FONT=Tahoma, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial]Join us for the 2nd Annual Infinitive Tri @ Broadlands on Sunday, June 7th! The course is challenging for experienced triathletes, but also fun for newer competitors...especially the pool swim! We have relays for those who want to join forces with family or friends to complete the event!! It’s sure to be a great time!! If tris aren’t your thing...we’d love to have your help on the course! Come out and cheer your friends and family to the finish line! Email volunteer@infinitive.com for more information on volunteering at this great community event.

Proceeds from our June 7th triathlon will be donated to the Sack Family who lost virtually all their personal belongings in a house fire on May 10, 2009. Come out to this great event and help raise money for a great family. If you can’t participate...plan on volunteering!! It takes a the work of many volunteers to put on a triathlon. Come out and help us make a difference in our community.

I'll be at packet pickup with Bicycle Outfitters today from 3:00pm - 6:00pm, and tomorrow morning pre-race to safety check and certify bikes for the race, so stop by and say Hi!

To all the racers, best of luck tomorrow, and to you first-timers -- you are already winners just for toeing the start line. Have fun, and be fast!

Hey... which one were you, Polar? I think maybe you did my check today. I know you talked with a zillion people but I was the one that asked if we also got a sticker for our helmets. If that rings a bell, it was me! I recognized one guy from the shop, and someone I didn't know did my bike check.

There were three of us, you probably recognized Mark, the shop owner. What were you riding? I might remember you by your bike.

We'll be there again tomorrow morning before the race doing more bike checks, then Dave and Mark will be in the Bicycle Outfitters support truck on the course.

I'll be standing along the course along Claiborne Parkway North with my cowbell, adding a little bit of that European flavor for the racers. [IMG]
