Burgulary Alert

    The Loudoun county Sheriff's office Has just issued the following alert
    [FONT=&quot]04/28/2008[/FONT]

    [FONT=&quot]The Sheriff’s Office is investigating a series of burglaries that occurred Friday night into Saturday morning in the South Riding area. [/FONT]

    [FONT=&quot]Loudoun Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 25400 block of Beresford Drive around 6:15 AM for a report of a burglary of a residence. Unknown subject(s) apparently entered the home through an unlocked window and removed a small amount of cash from a wallet and a purse that had been left on a table in the kitchen. [/FONT]

    [FONT=&quot]A second resident reported a similar incident at their home in the 25400 block of Crossfield Drive. The victim told authorities she discovered her wallet open and lying out of her purse in the kitchen. A small amount of cash was taken. The front door of the home had been left unlocked. Another home in the 25470 block of Crossfield Drive reported finding a window completely open. An MP3 player was discovered missing from the home. Another resident in the 25400 block reported having two MP3 players removed from the home. A screen had been cut and it appears a window may have been used to gain entry into the home. [/FONT]

    [FONT=&quot]During a canvass of the area two more homes on Crossfield Drive were discovered to have had the screens from windows removed. [/FONT]

    [FONT=&quot]The burglaries appeared to take place between 10 PM Friday night and 6:15 AM Saturday morning. [/FONT]

    [FONT=&quot]Anyone with information regarding these incidents is asked to contact Investigator M. Bush of the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division at 703-777-0475. If the caller wishes to remain anonymous they are asked to call Loudoun County Crime Solvers at 703-777-1919. If the information provided leads to an arrest and indictment the caller could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000.[/FONT]
