It looks like Giant has Kings Dominion discount tickets, but does one of the other grocery stores have BG tickets? No luck on the Costco website -- how about in-store?

I am in the Williamsburg area right now and I think one of the local grocery stores here has coupons on their grocery bags....I will check and let you know. When do you need them?

I read on some trip planning website that they have a "Summer Reading" program. If your child shows a valid library card, you can get 30% off the price of up to six tickets.

You can call their operators at 1-800-343-7946 to double check if this is accurate.

If you have AAA card/membership, you can show your card at the gate and they give you a (5%??) discount. If you think you'll be coming back again, you can upgrade to a FunPass valid for VA residents - it's similar to a season's pass, I think.

We're planning to go next weekend. If you'll let me know which grocery store it is, my in-laws can probably get those for us, since they live in Yorktown. Thanks for the tip!

I just went to Farm Fresh thinking that was where I saw them but they no longer have them. The cashier said that they have them the beginning of the season. I did hear on the radio that if you buy a ticket, it is good for 12 months from the date of purchase. They also have an "easy pay" plan - i think it's $10 a month? (I am in Yorktown too!) :)

If you go directly to their website they have this offer before Aug 31st. I really think with the economy right now the parks are taking a hit. We have season passes and were shocked at how quiet the park was when we went a few weeks ago:)

Thanks, eliseh1!! That's probably going to be the best deal out there. If anyone else is interested, you can print free e-tickets from the website.
