Cafe Panache is the new restaurant replacing the vacant 321 Ashland space at the Broadlands Village Shopping Center. Please let me know if you have any questions and I will try to answer to the best of my knowledge.

What type of restaurant is this?

We now have: Pizza, Chinese, Steak, Seafood, subs, deli, Italian, Vienamese, Japanese, Thai, Mediteranean, burgers/fast food, smoothie place, ice cream...is one of the new places Mexican?

What a selection! All we need now is Cajun, Korean, German, Irish, and a McDonalds.

Any other suggestions? I hope I didn't leave anyone out that is already there...

Yes there are MANY choices out there!! Cafe Panache is American Food with Burgers, steaks, sandwiches, some seafood and amazing desserts. They will be open for Lunch and Dinner. Also they will offer a Sunday Brunch. The new owner is well established in the area and is eager to open!! I've had a sneak peek at the menu and was impressed with both the selections and the prices. Hope that helps.

You mentioned the new owner is established in the area. Does he/she have other restaurants?

    Then... does THIS
mean that the new owner is a resident? Or... what does "well established in the area" mean exactly?

    Thanks!

Also... any idea on their opening date? I'm anxious to give them a try, especially if they're family friendly. :D

I am not able to give out that kinda of residential information, sorry. As far as opening, the restaurant is going hoping to open the beginning of October.

Property Manager - I think you're missing the point. You made the statement that the "owner is well established in the area" - we're just asking for clarification on that. I don't think anyone is asking where this person lives, but rather we are curious if you meant well established in terms of living here, or work experience here. Thanks for the update!

We need a 5 star gourmet restaurant. A weekend breakfast would be good. IHOP doesn't cut it for me. Not franchised, but more like a mom and pop place.

There was one that tried to be 5-star ... the one that is being replaced by this new one.

Didn't last ... however, Clydes will be opening by the end of the year, not sure what it would get in a Michelin guide ... but its pretty good.

Apparantly Cafe Panache was open last night for a test run, but not for the public. Must be getting close to opening.
My theory is that it is the same owner as 321 since it looked exactly the same.

Cafe Panache is not the same owners as 321 Ashland. Completely different owner, better atmosphere inside, better menu and much better prices. They should be opening VERY soon!! (the outside looks the same b/c the owner/management of the shopping center doesn't allow tenants to change the outdoor area)

While picking up a pizza from Bravo last Sunday we were peeking in the windows of Cafe Panache. The new owner came out to talk to us. It's a different owner. He said he plans to open this coming weekend as in tomorrow. He also said they are a "Casual American" style resturant with reasonable prices.

I'm a little shocked that with 321 Ashland not working out, you now are basically "throwing them under the bus". Also haven't seen you on the boards for a while. When are you going to go and personally take down the "Flashing" jewelry store sign, as you said you would?

We popped by last night and grabbed a menu. Looks interesting, but, appetizers are $5-$9, salads are $10-$13 and entrees will cost between $16 and $22. Disappointing, as we were really hoping for more affordable options. We already have a ton of restaurants in that price range.

On a side note, we ate at the Vietnamese restaurant the other night when it was really cold-great soup at a really great price, great service and no wait! Wanted to give them some kudos for a job well done...
