Charity:Winter Coats

    I have a number of winter coats in great condition that I'd like to donate to charity. Is there a local charity that would accept these? (A charity that would give them away, not sell)

    Crossroads United Methodist Church (near the Ashburn Farm Giant shopping center) would give them away. Every third Saturday they host Grace Ministries, an event where people in need can come and "shop" for free clothing, food, and diapers. Drop-offs are accepted the evening before.     DAD4 and others--

    Also, the local homeless shelter in Reston (by the Reston Library) and other local churches (if you call and ask) will gladly donate "gently used toys and clothing, etc." to the proper people.
