Has anyone been to the new indoor playground - Chibis? I have a soon to be 6 year old and am wondering if he'll find it entertaining or is it really for the younger kids?

    Thanks!

Sounds like its a great option for younger kids. Their website says "Chibis Indoor Playground is specifically designed for play by children under the age of 6."

We went opening weekend and took a 3 and 1 year old. They are next door to some school that was having an open house and was booming loud music. It was non-pleasant to say the least. The owner explained that was not normal. I would hope so.

They were also removing a train track that failed to work properly and had plans to replace it with an alternative form of entertainment (I think they said push cars or something - I really don't remember).

There was a large climbing contraption geared to older kids. My 3 year old was afraid and required adult assistance throughout. I think 6 is actually a good age for the place. A little older may get bored though.

There are several areas designated for the younger crowd. The infant area was nice. There were a couple areas that I thought they could have come up with better ideas. One area had a play kitchen and small living room set. Another area had puzzles and a doll house. I guess I just think for $10, I want my kids to be physical and romp on an indoor playground. I don't think playing house is what I had in mind. Of course, my little ones loved it. I saw lots of choking hazards with the small pieces. I expect that their business concept with evolve and they will modify those areas (at least I hope so).
