Closest Emergency Care?

Besides the emergency room at the hospital, does anyone know where a 24-hour Emergency Care center is located near the Broadlands or in Ashburn? Also does anyone know of the closest 24-hr. pharmacy/drug store?

 

I'm going to answer my own question. Nobody responded - I assume not many know of an area urgent care. Found one next to Joe's Crab Shack off Rt. 7 (next to NOVA). Nova Medical Group Urgent Care....thought others might want to know. This would be in lieu of going to Loudoun Hospital Emergency Room (oh, no, please...I didn't mean to mention the word "hospital")[V]

 

Yes, NOVA Medical Group Urgent Care is a very good place. We have been there a few times... during a snow storm.... Saturday morning. They are very nice accurate and efficient.
When you asked for 24 hour I did not know of any. I have never needed anything in the middle of the night.
I say, if you have "issues" with a H.... H..... hosptial (eeek) and you do not like Loudoun. I think Fairfax Hospital is the best.
Loudoun H is very good though. We have never had to wait there. I do not like Reston.
I do not know of a 24 hour clinic. By the way NOVA Medical Group also has an office in Leesburg behind the animal hospital.
Ask the one on 7 about directions. I have seen it, it is behind the Leesburg Animal Hospital.

 

I have nothing but very, very bad experiences at Fairfax. Reston has been good to us for outpatient surgery though we have not had to use the er there before. I have had to very, very ill parents and could write a book on the horror stories of fairfax. I have always been amazed at the "awards" they receive. Just my two cents.

 

The only 24 hour pharmacy that I know of is in Sterling on Rt. 7. It is an Eckard Drug, down near the IHOP and across from the Sterling Cinema and Draft House.

I just learned that the CVS in Leesburg is 24 hour.
I went to the one in Farmwell this evening and I got a magnet that advertised it.
