Coney Island Disaster….

Co-workers and I ordered from this place rather frequently throughout the month of September, but that has ended and we have a firm BAN on this establishment. One co-worker ordered the hotdog with chili/cheese and got a case of an upset stomach, but we weren’t sure if it was related to the food or not at the time… until a few weeks later myself and another co-worker got food poisoning. I ordered the Chicken Philly and my co-worker had the Mahi Tuna sandwich. I actually ended up in the ER due to dehydration and trouble breathing. Just last week, another co-workers (who hadn’t heard of everyone else’s experiences) ALSO got food poisoning!! She ordered a turkey sandwich. The food was actually decent but I am not interested in getting sick anymore.

 

Did you also alert the health department or the management? They may not be aware that there is a problem.

 

Management no, although that is a very good suggestion that I will follow up on. The health department was contacted by one of my co-workers just last week.
