Construction Begins on Belmont Ridge Improvement Project

    This notification is in reference to the long term road widening project on Belmont Ridge Road from Truro Parish Road to Croson Lane. Please expect construction traffic pick up as the widening of Belmont Ridge Road gets under way:
    • February 9, 2022 and work up to August 2024
    • Monday thru Friday 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
    • Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) will start up prior to the end of March 2022

    It's amazing to me a mile of road is going to take more than 2 years to widen.
