Did anyone see the story about the dog shot at the Adams Morgan Festival?

    This was a clear case of prejudice against a pit mix. The other dog was a poodle, so its automatically the pits fault. The DC cop had the pit on the ground, with his knee on the dogs neck. Of course the dog is going to panic. Then he was picked up, thrown down a flight of stairs, and shot. It was not a kill shot, the dog was left to bleed to death while his owner watched helpless. There are conflicting stories, but bottom line is - they did not have to shoot the dog.
    I wont bring my dogs anywhere near a DC event. And to the DC cop who shot the dog - **** you.

    Looking at the pictupre of cop and the dog makes me sick. Poor dog.
