Found a new Driveway Sealing company that is AWESOME! Three years out of the door and they do a GREAT job of it. Based out of Manassas and really growing fast. Their prices are lower than the top two Sealing companies that serve Broadlands. I decided to use them after seeing how many positive reviews they got (they got nearly zilch complaints when compared to the other two.) I am extremely glad I went with them.

I think they are going to give the other two companies a run for their money. They are very detail-oriented and pay high attention to what they are doing. They have surely differentiated themselves from the other companies that impressed the heck out of me as the other two firms never have done before and they are more careful how the stuff is spread. They also do NOT do any of the crap spraying that one of the other two does as I am not a fan of "spraying" because it does not cover cracks very well (Which is why I don't use one of the other two anymore.)

I am a fan of these two brothers and they are going to get my business again as their prices are reasonable as they do not have significant overhead as the other two companies do so they are able to keep their costs lower all the while offering higher quality work than the other two do. (Owner does all the work whereas the other two companies just have employees that aren't really that invested in the company since they only receive a "salary" if that....they aren't going to reap the benefits of owning the company so they aren't going to bend their backs over that far enough to please the customer.) I know that when a company gets large enough that they can afford a larger staff, they leave the hard work to the staff they've hired so the quality naturally goes down a bit as a result because the owner no longer does the work himself as he has in the beginning.

Are these the Irish sounding guys running around in the trucks asking everyone who has a pulse if they want their driveway re-done? They did a bunch of my neighbors driveways---which look great. However, they asked us FIVE different times if we wanted an estimate. First time...no thanks. Second time--no thanks. Third time the doorbell rang i was ready to rochambeau someone. Not to mention--we have a "No Soliciting" sign on the front door. They even blocked our driveway one afternoon, and when my wife asked them to move their trucks----after they moved them...they came by to ask her for the second time that day if she wanted an estimate. Even if i was in the market for a new driveway--i know who i won't be using. There's a blue sign in my neighbors yard...but i've blocked it out.

Ah! So that's what they wanted! About 1-2 weeks ago, they pulled up onto the pipestem by my house and along my back yard while I was grilling burgers. They stopped and just stared at me, so I asked what they wanted. They responded "We wouldn't mind some burgers if you have extras!". I kept asking them what they wanted and they just kept responding with dumb requests for BBQ, etc. I got fed up after asking them 3-4 times what they wanted, so I told them that they were on a pipestem and that was private property and they should leave. They eventually pulled out of the pipestem, only to return to tell me there was a gap between the top of my concrete driveway and my lawn and that they could fix that. At that point, I just lost it and said "That gap is for a family of chipmonks that lives under there. Who do you think I'm grilling these burgers for? Now, please leave since you are trespassing." Never saw them again, but dang, they sure acted like 3 drunk lunatics the way they were talking and just being jerks...

I know I won't be using them either. I'm scratching my head and wondering if Capricorn was hacked. Glowing recommendation......over the top accolades.....no name of the company. :pofl:

You can stop laughing- I wasn’t hacked and I’m NOT stupid enough to accept “fly by night” company’s offers for a spur free quote if they come around knocking on my door-

I did it the legitimate way by going on google and doing my research finding a young 3 yr old start up and saw that a number of people were happy with them so took a chance on them and was rather very happy with their performance.

Name is Moises Castro and email is castrosealcoating@hotmail.com- sorry, I left if off originally-

now you can resume laughing at your own leisure.

Sounds about right. Before the shenanigans two weeks ago....they drove by earlier in the summer--yelling at me from the truck, barely slowing down to irritate me. They could use some marketing advice.
